Great horns

Yes – the place with the sheep on the roof that I have surely blipped before. I quite liked the horns on this one though.

We have made it quite a habit now, stopping at Cross Lanes Organic Farm Shop and Café (see extra) when we are travelling down to Kent. It’s on the A66 and only half an hour of so from home, but we always feel we have done the most difficult part of the A66, and can then stop for breakfast. They do the most wonderful breakfasts and it sets us up for the rest of the journey, without us having to deal with any of the awful food outlets at service stations.
  
And Gordon has the coffee at service stations sorted, so as to avoid the ridiculous prices they charge. We always drink espressos when travelling and he manages to persuade them to give him a double espresso in two cups. Works every time.
