It's a start!

For years we have been trying to create a wildflower garden around the fruit trees. We have scattered lots of seeds over the years but none ever germinated. This year we took drastic action. We hired a machine to take the whole top turf off, dug it over, removed as much couch grass as possible and scattered A LOT of wildflower seeds. 
It has worked but it is still rather patchy. We are continually battling with the couch grass but are very pleased as it seems that we are at last getting there!!
