Homestead Close-Up

My husband's grandparents' homestead must have been built in a sturdy fashion for it is over 100 years old and still standing. I wanted to capture the bank of old-fashioned Lilies still growing in a border along side of the house. From times past, people have decorated with flowers. The stalwart Lilies hold their own in all the grass and seemingly bloom each summer without difficulty. I like the apparent need humans have to decorate with flowers. It seems innate for many humans.
