Funny

How this single photo has caught all the personalities of these three monkeys. Monkey 1 is sweet and cute, Monkey 2 is sassy, hilarious and fun, my monkey oozes classical ballerina. Just look at those legs...

Today has been a really busy day. It started with a lot of jobs for ballet at home, sewing, posters and a trip to the stock shop.

It was busy because today there was a street festival happening right alongside dance class today and we had been asked to provide several dance selections during the day. Every class in the school, bar the babies, were included. It was an epic day and I was in charge of costuming & chaperoning. The first set (Katies) had to be done inside, after a busy morning rehearsal. That was manic. Katie went with friends for a couple of hours to enjoy the festival after her class/show section and some time dancing in the studios. Including getting their faces painted. The second set happened in the street as previously hoped. The three girls returned as we were starting to pack up. They spent an hour dancing and adoring the space being empty!

Our after show routine generally involves a treat happy meal. Except it's becoming less and less successful as a treat! She likes fruit bag not chips and they didn't have any. She tried a burger and was disappointed by the plastic cheese, so only ate what I managed to scrape free of cheese. She liked the toy though!

I took her straight home and the plan had been for her to go straight to bed. She couldn't go to bed until she'd sat and played at the piano for half an hour!
