The pineapple

Enjoyed a bit of a long lie this morning and then a bit of a slow lazy morning about the house. I did a spot of yoga and then I wandered round for some croissants to have with coffee.

Then we went for a wee stroll round The Pineapple this afternoon. It was really humid this afternoon and the couple of showers we were caught in didn't clear it much.

Some of the paths were a tad muddy...Es was warned that we were going walking but still selected a pair of Vans to wear, not sure they'll be the same again.

Home and we set about making a mushroom and chickpea stew with quinoa for tea...the Rooster was keen to help with the chopping. He was a good help.

Then it was a lazy night watching a movie, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation...enjoyable enough and eating ice cream.

Today I am grateful for Saturday's with no prior commitments free to fill with what takes your fancy :-)
