Royal Troon

Looking all spick and span for the Open.

We headed down for a wee visit with Aunty Gill, Uncle Paul, Conor and Paddy...eventually got that wee lad's birthday present to him.

We also took some chocolate brownies with us. Mr R, the Rooster, the wee fella and I whipped them up this morning after I came back from Church. Rooster had found the recipe the other day and was keen to try it...they were billed as "healthy" brownies. The wee fella said we filled them with love because we made them as a family.

After a very tasty tea, some steps were lacking so before we headed up the road we took a wander down the front and had a nosey at the course. We were lucky with the weather just as we got back to the car the rain started...it was a good fresh walk we enjoyed.

Today I am grateful for time with family.
