Back to blighty

Our journey back to the UK for DS#1's graduation began today with a leisurely drive to Montpellier. Ice-creams were taken at Sommieres in the square above, IKEA was visited without too much stress and the flight left on time.
In the UK however horrendous queues at immigration meant we almost missed getting our hired car - "I was just leaving the office..." was the line given - and then of course the A1 was closed and so we didn't get to Durham until almost 1 am to be told we needed to start queuing for the ceremony at 8 am in the morning.
