"Passing" the weekend - Furkapass, Chli Furkahorn

Day 2 on our little mountain pass tour, please see yesterday's blip. 
Today we got up with the first light shining on the glacier. Peace and quiet around us, I rarely feel so content with the world!

Passing dozens of marmots we drove down the Grimselpass and up the Furkapass to start our hike up the Chli Furkahorn, 3026m. 
Not an easy hike, and so I ended up feeling proud that even as a person with anxiety I made it up to the top!
Djeili LOVED this hike. She slip-slided down around in the snow, jumped up and down stone chunks and just had an awesome time! 
(see extra no. 2 for her at the cross, we had to tie her up to save other people's picknicks...

We should have staid longer in the mountains! The thermometer at home showed 35°C and  it did feel very oppressive. Ah well, work again tomorrow, but we had our little two days holiday that felt like having been away far, far from home, even when it was within a two hours drive reach.
