Berries time

Emma and WU16 team had their last match in Lithuania today and in the evening each girl was told if she was selected to the team that will play in the European Championships in August. And guess what! Emma was selected! She is quite a girl. One year younger than most girls of the team. I am so proud of my little girl.

WU16 team traveled to Kaunas today had a match against Lithuania. It was very tight match, in the end Lithuania won 48-40. Statistics
Girls will have an early wake-up tomorrow, travelling all day and being home late in the evening. It will be wonderful to get Emma home! 

I had a walk with Sami in woods near us. I found wild blueberries, strawberries and raspberries - but unfortunately didn't find any chanterelle mushrooms. And mosquitos found me! 
We are now able to pick both mushrooms and berries in forests at the same time, that's quite unusual! Wild berries are ripening two or three weeks earlier than during most years, and the wild blueberry crop is expected to be better than usual.
