Susom Give
The Swiss certainly do run things like clockwork. We had seamless travel to and from the Long Race event at Susom Give today via train to Zernez, through stunning mountains, to be met by several post buses at the station which transported the very international crowd to the event arena in my blip through hairy, scary mountain passes.
The juniors had a testing race ahead of them, the longest distance of the week in tough terrain both physically and navigationally, and all of that at altitude of 2300m. There was no race for us ordinary mortals today but there was a training map and Tony went off to do some of that whilst I took lots of photos of GB, Irish and US athletes.
My blip shows the GB enclave (about a dozen of us!) in the event arena. There's a Yorkshire flag there somewhere too as Wooders was running today.
