Christmas Roast Club 2008

Me, Bry, Tom, Anneke, Ian & Rachele started up this wee thing a few years back called Roast Club (the first rule of roast club IS...there is NO roast club. The second rule of roast club is there IS NO ROAST CLUB) with the intention that all 6 (3 couples) would get together fairly regularly to cook roasts for each other.

Then we all got really busy (Rachele & Ian had Ben, Tom & Anneke got a flat that needed loads of attention and no kitchen, me & Bry had Arlo) and it didn't happen as much as we'd all like.

Still, we managed at least one this year and rather timely too for it was our Christmas Roast Club.

It was Anneke's first ever Roast - she did a lovely bit of pork and the most amazing roast potatoes EVER. Mmmmm. Was delish.

And the best bit was that i wasn't preggers this time so I got MORe than my fair share of the blue stinky cheese and port.
