what's in the box?

Arlo's christmas present, that's what. He will have absolutely no idea what it is or what to do with it, but he will love to flick, flick, flick all the wooden shapes and spin them round because that's exactly what he did when he played with this cube at Lynne's house.

This also has an abacus (again, more bead flicking) and a weird thing where you move wooden pegs round tracks (more flicking) and a magnet board with shapes he will no doubt try to eat and a xylophone for bashing and making noise. I love it!

Today, Arlo cried from around 1pm till he went to bed at 7pm - breaking for a few minutes to eat his tea and have lots of fun in his bath. His teeth hurt. And the cold is annoying him. It was very hard work.

Still, he's not crying now. Fingers crossed that continues....
