Nika ... almost time to let her go

Nika was sterilised today and is back home again. I dropped her at the vet and they phoned me just after I walked into the house to say the op was over and had gone well. So quick ... or maybe the traffic was just slow?
C is eventually home from all her gallivanting so the house feels full again as we all sit in front of the fire. Electricity is now so expensive it's cheaper to burn wood from trees killed during last year's fire!
Nika has found a fabulous home so will have to leave once her wound has healed. It's been interesting to watch and know that I can love without needing to hold onto her. May she always be loved.
