Tuesday: Another Suitcase In Another Hall
Or, to be precise, another 7.
Today must definitely have been the hottest day of the year - 36.5 degrees. And a day of running errands, for the most part. It started with the next stage of our luggage collection - our unaccompanied air freight. This is a consignment of luggage that travels separately to us, by DHL, but should get there relatively quickly, within the week or so. And here is our UAF in all its glory, prior to collection.
I then had to pop into my old office to take care of a few admin issues - I saw a few of my old colleagues but not many. I wanted to keep a low profile out of respect to my successor. From there, to the pharmacy to collect a prescription, to the post office to pay the last telephone bill and then to the pet shop to buy some small food bowls to accompany the boys in their travelling crates.
A few hours at home and then to the vet this evening for the kitties to be given their export documents and the all clear to fly.....
And finally out for some food with K. as we have nothing in the house. It was quick and low key though, partly due to the fact that K. has been pretty unwell - we think she picked up some mild food poisoning last night.
