Sunday: Poppy Knows

K's mum, Julia, wasn't really able to recognise that I was here until this morning.  She has pretty much lost the power of speech but I did get a look of surprise this morning, followed by a lovely smile and a 'Hello, Love'......

It's felt like a busy day with visitors for K's mum, visits from carers, district nurses etc.  

This is Poppy who lives two doors down.  Somehow she knows that Julia needs comfort at the moment and she is spending a lot of time here, curled up on the bed.  She has also started bringing a present every day but probably not the kind we want to pass on.
