Shades of Red

My three-year-old daughter is interested in things that are Chinese, and for some reason, she has this idea that all things red are Chinese. She asked for a chocolate today and told me she wanted the one in a red wrapper, "because red is for Chinese," she said. "That's Chinese candy."

"Actually, honey, it's Swiss. Swiss things are sometimes red, too."

"Oh. OK, well, I like Swiss, too. I'll take the red one."
