Cucumbers

Today's the day ............................ for a collective noun

According to the dictionary - a collective noun is the name of a number (or collection) of people or things taken together and spoken of as one whole. So what would you call a collection of - cucumbers?

How about a coolness - a clump - or a conglomeration? If they were sea cucumbers apparently it would be a pickle or a squirt ?

The main thing is that this lot are growing in our greenhouse and one day hopefully they'll be big enough to slice into a salad .........................
