Today's the day ........................ for an aperitif

We're a bit stunned here today after the horrific happenings in Nice last night.

It was so easy to imagine people out on the Promenade des Anglais enjoying themselves and celebrating le quatorze juillet - just as we were.  And although we've had a lovely relaxing day here going for a walk, long lunch, Time Trials of Le Tour - it has never been very far from our minds.

Tomorrow there is a very exciting day in prospect - for which I most definitely will need a sun hat.  So we went along to the nearby town of Voiron to look for one.  I was spoilt for choice in this excellent shopping centre but eventually I went for the one shown above.

Très chic - n'est-ce pas ....................?!
