This Mandarin duck flew into Lake Rotoiti a couple of years ago and has stayed.

No one has any idea where he came from or why he has stayed. He is certainly a talking point on a lake full of mallards.

We had another beautiful day here today - white snow, blue sky. A great day for a meditation retreat that incorporates walking meditation.
