Spider At Home

When ever I lost sight of this guy in my lens, I was convinced it had jumped at me, and I jumped back.

I'm not truly phobic, but I am surely not a fan.

I have no idea what kind of spider he is. I know he continues to hang my garage with his webs and as long as he stays outside, he is welcome as long as he pleases.
