COLOUR

And after a recent phone call from stepson S we believe there is some colour in his cheeks and light at the end of this exhausting tunnel. He said he feels better than he has for the last six or seven weeks. Hurrah, surely the patches must have worked this time. All fingers are crossed.

Thank you for all your thoughts and kind wishes during this worrying time, they have meant so much.

And at last we have felt a burst of energy and cleaned the house from top to bottom. There is steak for supper and the Tour de France to watch later. I believe a nice bottle of red wine is to be opened too.

With the horror and atrocities across France and the world, I know our troubles have been minor in comparison. What on earth will become of humanity.
