Comorant

My long weekend off this week :-)
Overcast morning but not to be daunted we headed North to Tayinloan.
We had a lovely long stroll on the beach and enjoyed watching the Gigha ferry making its way across the water from Tayinloan to Gigha.
Maeve even dipped her paws in the water.
Stopped at Glenbarr for lunch and afterwards we headed to the farm stall at Bellochantuy to buy some fresh eggs and shortbread pigs .
For a treat we also bought some of their home made vanilla ice cream which was lovely with the chocolate cake we bought in the Co-Op :-)
Working on some images to see if they will work for lino prints. I liked the form of this comorant drying it's wings :-)
