Spring And Summer

I reminded mum that we really needed to get our "Summer" picture for the "Four seasons" project. So off we went on this reasonably nice day weather-wise, to see if it was possible.

The tricky thing with this Summer picture is that our chosen location, where we have already taken a Winter and a Spring picture, is where cattle graze most of the time. The area is big and hilly and you can't be sure if they are there or not even if you can't see them. Let's do it, I said.

It very much looked as if they had indeed been there very recently, so mum tried to get me to walk as fast as possible. As it turned out, there was another cattle grid right before we got to this meadow, so the actual shoot was safe. And we made it safely back to the car. Phew!
