The High Life

Whilst over in Manchester this morning, we dropped in to see my cousin who is currently living on the 32nd floor of Beetham Tower in Manchester. Needless to say, the view from up there is fantastic. (And even better from the 46th I would imagine!)
An easy choice for today's blip - this is a panoramic shot of the view looking north along Deansgate. (view in large if you can). So much has changed in Manchester in the 30 years or so since I was a student there.
The outside of the building is in the extra - if you know Manchester, you can't fail to recognise it. Up to the 24th floor (or thereabouts) is the Hilton Hotel, the residences are on top in the bit that sticks out above where there is a little red light. Not a place for vertigo sufferers.
