A tayberry fruit

I managed to water the garden this morning and I'm sure the plants were pleased.  I sotted that this tayberry plant was fruiting, but felt bad as I hadn't actually planted it out in the ground, so it was rather forlorn.

Helena's cousin F. came to visit this afternoon with her 10 year old daughter,  and we had tea in the garden. I got my macro lens and wandered around looking for colour and anything else that caught my eye.  The tayberry certainly did that, and the resulting image does looks rather vivid, but then so does the berry in real life.
