Getting Ready

The Underneath the Stars Festival will be taking place this coming weekend at Cannon Hall.  All the marquees are now in place and there was lots of other activity around the site.  A very nice lunch for us in a relatively quiet cafe today.  Our luxury shopping bought and then home to relax and avoid the heat of the afternoon.  It seems to have gone from one extreme to the other this summer.
It will be a very warm night tonight, which is most unusual for us as our thick stone walls usually provide insulation against the heat.
