Brickmaker's Arms

This is one of the 5 (yes FIVE) pubs we have in our village. It is called the Brickmaker's Arms as there is evidence of a Brickmaker's kiln and yard at the rear of the premises.

I suspect they are doing a roaring trade in the current heatwave and no doubt the beer garden will be full later today. Sadly, I didn't have time to call in for a refreshing drink as I was on my way to the Health Centre to collect my prescriptions.
