Nasturtiums
Fiery summer, the colours of flame:
Flowering's the job and Nasturtium's the name.
Plant my fat seeds and in time they will be
Bright burning beacons of Vitamin C
... and iron. And, according to one website, their leaves have antiobiotic properties, strongest just before flowering. Not sure whether that's applied internally or externally. I'll take it with a pinch of salt. ha ha.
I know they are supposed to be a peppery addition to salads, but I confess I've never tried eating them. They're too beautiful and I'm too frit of culinary experiments!
I did enjoy experimenting on Photoshop to add an arty touch to my photo.
