We'll gather lilacs . . . . . .

"We'll gather lilacs in the Spring again" goes the old wartime song. But my lilac has got it all wrong because it is blooming in July! This is a second crop of blooms, very small in size, but quite plentiful. It was mistakenly pruned at the wrong time (no comment!) and I think that may have confused it.
I edited the Talking Newspaper this morning. Two editors cut out articles we think would be of interest and Blutak them into boards ready for the readers. We had problems this morning because there was very little news covering our area. So the listeners will have a short programme.
Watering again tonight but it hasn't been so hot.
