Roadside

After I had blipped the silage bales on Tuesday I spotted these poppies, together with lots of scabious, on the bank beside the road, so I went back today to capture them. I knew I shouldn't leave it too long as poppies are quite short lived. So it would seem are silage bales - they had disappeared, so I was very lucky to see them when I did.
It feels very heavy today, as if it should rain, but it hasn't as yet. Can't believe I am now wishing for rain when a couple if weeks ago I was sick if the sight of it!
