Knit one purl one bike

After the morning session at the Keswick Convention we decided to head out for the afternoon. We went to Cockermouth, a lovely old town and scene of such devastation after the floods some months ago. After the usual amount of time spent in coffee places and craft shops we had our evening meal in Braithwaite before a walk round Portinscale village. Lake District villages are very lovely with such wonderful old slate buildings and cottage gardens.
