A gorgeous day on the ⛳ course

Very very warm today, a looong shift in the sunshine but very interesting. I met new friends, saw old friends and watched alot of great golf. A young man from our hometown in BC is playing his 1st Open. His family was there (our old neighbours) and i got to visit and walk a few holes with them. So proud of this fellow, his parents, 82 year old grandma, girlfriend and friends were all here to support him. This top photo was taken really early this morning and you can see the news camera on the far left. Just above the left part of the sign is the last of the fading full moon. The man in the photo with me is my 'volunteer husband' and it looks like we are off to day camp with our wee clear issued knapsacks. I love working with him as his lovely wife makes us oatmeal raisin cookies every night! How lucky am i?
