Canada Red & White Day @ Canadian Open

Great day, but a tad too hot. We hit 39 with humidity, felt like we were inside a sauna oven, if there was such a thing. There was a gusty breeze but it was hot air. The morning started at 5 with an outdoor temp of 26, that was the coolest part of the night! It was a fun atmosphere on the course (red & white day) while at the same time carrying a serious note. Today was 2nd round of play with cuts tonight. Over half the field will go home tomorrow. These photos are of my awesome coworkers who make this volunteer work really fun. My 'volunteer husband' continues to have his lovely wife make us cookies each evening. I could so easily retire and keep this lifestyle...but a few (more than a few) years to go. I work the next 2 mornings until 2, temps won't be much cooler...gosh we need rain, they promised a thunderstorm last night that never materialised. Really enjoyed seeing 4 holes following a friend of our sons, unfortunately he wont be making the cut in his 1st ever Open.
