Baked beans

Something TallGirl and I both really miss from Britain is proper baked beans. You can sometimes get them here, but they are so expensive that they have to be a rare treat. "How much?" I can hear my grandmothers chorus...

These are my two types of baking beans, after a little flurry of quiche making this evening. Earlier there was photo sorting (or, looking at old photos of the kids and saying 'ahh' a lot) shopping, Tour watching (ouch!), and dinner. CarbBoy was off trampolining, TallGirl was invisible and I learned more about how Spotify works. CarbBoy persuaded me to download PokemonGo onto the iPad.... Which is wifi only. I suspect tomorrow may see some disappointment when he tries it out...
