Under The Cherry Tree
Stopped in Piercebridge again, but this occasion being lunchtime, the excellent cafe attached to the Farm Shop was open. Here is Mr Flum awaiting lunch under a cherry tree (and no, we didn't eat any) with sheep in the paddock behind.
Later we took a walk around Harrogate, a beautiful spa town with many sulphur springs and which could teach Edinburgh a thing or two: they also have traditional and historic buildings, but it was all well-kept and the visitor map listed no less than seven public toilets. Extra photo is of the Royal Pump Room built 1841-2 to a design by Thomas Shutt
