Toft Hill

On our way home, after much queuing of traffic on the A1, we stopped again in Piercebridge just as the cafe closed but they kindly made us a carryout cuppa and piece of the shortbread we'd eyed up yesterday. We drove a few miles further to a carpark we know well, with an open outlook, where we could relax and enjoy our very welcome picnic.
