Summer Days

Mum said Let's have a day off! Perfect, I replied. To be honest, we have lots of days off, but she meant with no heavy machinery running, just reading, walkies, playing, berry eating. That sort of thing.

So that's what we did. I have eaten more berries over these past few days than I can remember ever having done before. We went up to my paddling spot at the dam and over to the great oak. I snoozed in the sunshine next to mum. It was too hot for agility, but a wonderful day.
