High Style, High Crag, Ennerdale and Crummock...

...from the top of Haystacks.

Active walking week, day 1.

We set a real challenge for day 1 of the active walking week, up the spine of Fleetwith Pike, down to Dubs quarry, and over Haystacks - only a 6-mile walk, but a good climb, especially carrying full camera packs. The problem was, at the top of Fleetwith Pike, we were engulfed in cloud, so route finding was particularly hard!

The weather cleared in time for us to do Haystacks, where the views were amazing.

Late home though - dinner at 7.45.

Sorry I haven't been around for almost a week, our internet has been non-existent, and I don't have a BT engineer coming until next Friday!
