Summer afternoon

The hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures even in the Lakes nudging 30 degrees. Too hot to walk high, so the guests took themselves off to Borrowdale.

I met up with a friend for a cuppa, then slipped into Keswick for a few chores. With the Convention on the town is buzzing, and the buskers are making the most of the increased numbers, with buskers at either end of the Main Street.

These guys were pretty good, and had set up in the shade of the BT Phone boxes.
