Tree Lined

After a morning walk in Carcassone we headed off to pick up our boat from Caselnaudary to begin our journey along the Canal-du-Midi. After a bit of a guided tour of our amazing boat and all the facilities, we set off, straight into a set of four locks. We've got a mix of experience and first timers (Immy, Rosie and me, Chris) so for some it was all familiar, for the others we were quite literally learning the ropes. The locks close in the evening so we just moored up after a couple of km and Annie cooked a fab risotto which we enjoyed in the sunshine sat on the roof of the boat. It's so calm and peaceful here.
