Nottingham Big Swim

Did my first 2.5k open water race today at The National Water Centre. What a lovely place. A very friendly atmosphere which always helps.
I came in 21st out of 121 swimmers both male and female. I was 8th female out of the water and first in my age group both male and female. I'm rather pleased with that.
Best of all I did four minutes better than I thought I would have. I'm definitely doing this event again. I loved everything about it. :)
