Bonfire Day
It's been a lovely sunny day :)
Up fairly early and made a start to cleaning out the hired camper. We headed into town for lunch and went to the White Salt café in Joondalup. After lunch, we headed up to aunt Carol's, and both families and friends were over, unfortunately we missed the bride and groom but will see them tomorrow. A big family tea and then we all headed to aunt Carol's work for a guided tour. She works at Kanyana wildlife rescue centre and we got the nocturnal tour of the permanent residents, including a few temps that will be released back to the wild, loved it :) A quiet night in now and feet up :)
We arrived at auntie Carol's and they had set lite to the muckle bonfire in the garden. A fine family gathering around the fire. Pictured here is niece Elise, she got to wear uncle Mark's fireman coat to help out, also spot Mark to the left and his brother in law, Ross, on the right. Taken at Pomeroy Road, Perth Hills.
