Mr & Mrs Curtis

(After last week's wedding, I didn't really want to take a single picture today but just enjoy the day. Hence the lame collage and not a single picture of the bride and groom. Ooooops)

What. A. Day.

Today was always going to be magical; how could two of your best friends marrying each other be anything but? It was indeed a magical day, full of love, fun and two of the happiest people in the world.

We were all staying on the campsite overnight so it was nice to all wake up together and do all the last minute preparation. The bride and the bridesmaids got ready amidst tents, which is an impressive feat in itself. All members of the bridal party remained clean and the dresses remained free of any grass and mud. Despite having the shortest distance to travel to the venue of any bride I've known, we were fashionably late. Always good to keep the groom on his toes. The ceremony was beautiful. And a total sob-fest, obvs.

Then there was candy floss and popcorn, picnics and beer, friends and family, speeches and champagne, singing and poetry, hog roasts and cheese, playing and dancing, campfires and singing.

Perfection.

Mr and Mrs Curtis: what a privilege to be a part of your special day. May you have the happiest of marriages x x
