Oor Wullie, the Gowfer

A bright, breezy day.

My wife has slowly been visiting all the Oor Wullie creations scattered around Dundee. She has reached about 35 out off 55 of the main sites. There is an app which gives the positions of each one - a little like Geocaching. I went with her and the one I have chosen for the blip was the 'Gowfer' which is to be found at the Golf Centre at Carnoustie Golf Course.

The idea has certainly caught on, particularly with families during the school holidays. At each site there were people of every age taking photographs and small queues were forming as each took their turn.
