very special cargo.....

I had to take some very special cargo early this morning to the airport. It was a kiwi we were sending to Massey  University in Palmerston North. It isn't the one we have been treating, but  its mate. He came to us yesterday from the West Coast in a very sick condition. Wildbase is a bird hospital attached to the Massey Vet school. It has everything a human hospital would have. MRI and CAT scans are available. We may send our kiwi there too....neither illness is obvious, and a worry. Our bird is OK, but should be recovering quicker than she is.
