The view through the arch

Out walking with Helpet57 this morning in an area that was quite new to me.  The view through the arch is of the Ryat Linn Reservoir .... I think!  (or it might be the Balgray Reservoir)

It was a great morning for a walk.  Plenty of wild flowers with an abundance of Rosebay Willowherb and Common Vetch. We even spotted some wild raspberries but they were just too small to pick.

The extra photo is not very good but I include it because it's the first time I have ever seen young Great Crested Grebes.  I just wish the surface of the water had been calmer and the birds had been a bit nearer.
