High summer

The fresh greens of early summer have mellowed into a uniform mature green. On Bookham Common the oaks predominate but underneath there is a variety of plants to see. There were a lot of flowers on the blackberries, there should be a good crop.
There was a very dark cloud as I arrived home and I hoped it would rain but it has blown over, so I'll be watering again tonight.
