Kookaburra Attack

A breezy start to the day but it soon calmed and a sunny day for the most of it.  It clouded over in the late afternoon.

Packed up and left Possum Creek and back with auntie Carol.  Last day with the camper, and had to make use of it :)  After we settled back here, off we set and headed to John Forrest for lunch and a walk.  Me, Elise and Eve later went for a big walk about aunt Carol's.  A lovely family meal tonight and now all just relaxing at home.

Lunchtime was entertaining today, with various birds and kangaroos trying to help themselves to our chips and food.  There was magpies jumping in, ducks about our feed, 28s being hand fed chips and then a kookaburra watching from the sidelines.  First attack occurred whilst eating, swooped down and pinched a chip straight from dad's plate, and hitting Elise and mam in the face.  After we finished, the next attacks were more planned and teased him in.  I managed to snap this one when he was coming in to snatch the chip from Elise's hand, whilst dad was aware of it behind him.  Taken at John's Forrest Tavern, Perth.
