Up on the pentlands

A lovely evening run up on the pentlands with my friend Lorna. My third time up on the hills in 4 days. Love these long evenings.
We had a day around home today. The boys played really well together. I taught C to start drawing things 3D and D continued with his wee bug drawings. C did really well once he'd got over his annoyance at actually having to change how he was drawing. They played a complicated Tour De France game with their cars most of the day. It seemed to involve moving cars up and down the hall in a peloton and having sprint finishes. Love games like this where it's inspired by something they've seen but it's totally made up what they do with the inspiration. D had gymnastics 5-7 and A had taken C to the cricket nets while we were gone. They were still there when we got back so D joined them. I headed out for my run up Scald Law and they were just going to bed by the time I got back.
