At the zoo

These guys are top pals. The excitement preceding meeting up is always high. We met at Edinburgh Zoo this afternoon. We often do meet there as they all love the animals, the play parks and we all have membership. This time we met for a picnic and the boys started some imaginary game about minecraft on the grass, a good hour or so later their mum and I were still chatting at the picnic table while they played. Obviously it wasn't until she went off to get us a cup of tea that they remembered the animals and asked if we could go look at them. So we managed some flamingos, monkeys and penguins. We promise to look at lots of animals next time!
I missed hill reps this eve. I'd promised ice cream sundaes in my new sundae glasses so we stopped in sainsb on the way home to get supplies, and there was no way I was missing out on that one! Sometimes running is a priority and other times family fun is :-) it's all a balancing act :-)
